What’s New?

In early 2020, we will be making changes to the way that users sign in to QuickSuper. These changes are being developed so that our system conforms with the ATO’s DSP Operational Framework, and will make our system more secure. You will still be able to sign in using the same username and password, but in addition will need to provide an additional security check upon signing in by providing a code sent to you via your mobile phone or by email.

First Sign-In for Existing QuickSuper Users

If you currently have a QuickSuper account - signing in will be easy. Simply navigate your browser to QuickSuper to begin the process.

Enter Your Username and Password

On this screen, enter your current QuickSuper username (formerly known as login name) and password, then select Sign In to continue.

Confirm Your Email Address

On the following screen, you will be asked to enter a verification code that has been sent to your email address. For your security, the email address is not displayed in full, but the first letter of each part of your email address will be provided to assist in determining which email address the verification code has been sent to.

This is an extra layer of security to ensure that you still have access to the the email account associated with your QuickSuper user account.

Upon checking your email, you should receive an email containing a verification code to confirm your access to QuickSuper. If after a couple of minutes, no notification has been received click the Resend email verification code link to request a new email containing a verification code.

Enter the email verification code you received, then select Next to continue first-time setup.

Confirm Your Mobile Phone Number

The preferred method to sign in to QuickSuper is to use your username and password, followed by entering a verification code sent by SMS to your mobile device. At this step, you will be asked to enter your mobile number. This field may be pre-filled with a mobile number previously stored for your account in QuickSuper. After entering, updating or confirming your mobile number, select Next.

Upon checking your mobile device, you will have received an SMS verification code. If after a couple of minutes, no notification has been received click the Resend SMS verification code link to request a new SMS message containing a verification code.

What if I don’t have access to my mobile phone when using QuickSuper?

While SMS is the preferred method for receiving verification codes, some users will not have access to a mobile device while using QuickSuper. If this is the case, click the I don’t want to register a mobile number link. Click the Use email as my second factor link to continue.

Set up your Security Questions

Finally, you will be asked to select two security questions and provide answers for each. These security questions act as a backup factor if you need to reset your password and you either have not provided a mobile number or are unable to access your mobile device.

For each of the two options, select a question from the list provided. A good security question is one that is easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess.

After the first-time setup is complete, you will be signed in to QuickSuper.

Sign-In for New Users

New users will go through a similar process as existing users who are signing in for the first time. The entire flow has been documented here to illustrate this process.

Check Your Email for User Details

Upon being set up for access to QuickSuper, you will receive an email containing your username and temporary password.

Type the web address from the welcome email into your internet browser. On this screen, enter your username and temporary password, then select Sign In to continue.

On the following screen, you will be asked to enter a verification code that has been sent to your email address. As a final step, you will be asked to select a new password to replace the temporary password originally sent to you. Enter the same value in both fields and select Submit to finish the first-time setup process.

Once you have completed first-time setup, signing in to QuickSuper will be quick and secure.

To begin the process, navigate to QuickSuper in your browser.

What if I don’t have access to my mobile device? What if I didn’t enter a mobile phone number during sign-up?

If you are temporarily unable to access your mobile device, email verification can be used as a backup factor. Click the I don’t have access to my mobile right now link to continue.

If you did not provide a mobile phone number during sign-up, you will be automatically directed to the following screen instead of being asked to provide an SMS verification code.

Password Reset Self-Service

There are a number of options for resetting your password. The easiest and fastest way to do this is by using additional security factors recorded against your account. Select Reset My Password to begin the process.

Verify Your Identity Using Email

To begin the process of resetting your password, you will be required to enter the email address associated with your account.

Enter your email address and the security code displayed on the screen. Select Next to continue.

If your account details can be found, a verification code will be sent to your nominated email address.

If you have multiple accounts registered to the same email address, you will be asked to select which account you would like to reset the password for. Select the account by clicking the appropriate radio button and select Next.

A verification code will then be sent to your mobile device by SMS. For your security, the full mobile number is not displayed. The final three digits of the mobile number are provided to assist in determining to which device the message has been sent.

Finally, you will be asked to provide a new password to be used to sign-in in future.
